Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Sorted Laundry ("Sorted", "we", "us") provides wash, dry and fold laundry pickup and delivery in Encinitas, California. By creating an account or subscribing, you agree to these terms.

2. Membership and billing

Memberships are monthly subscriptions billed in advance to the card on file. The 3x a Week plan is $200 per month, with a promotional first month of $99 where launch pricing applies. The Every Day plan is $500 per month at full price. Your membership renews automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and service continues until then. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never store your full card details.

3. Pickups and delivery

Each pickup is one official Sorted bag holding roughly 10–12 lbs of laundry. Leave your bag on your doorstep between 7–9am on your scheduled days. We return clean laundry within 24 hours of pickup. If your bag is not out during the pickup window, that pickup is counted as used and is not carried over. Unused weekly pickups do not roll over to another week. You may skip individual pickups or pause your membership for a vacation from your account.

4. Service area

Service is available in ZIP codes 92024, 92023 and 92007. If you move outside the service area, your membership will be cancelled at the end of the current billing period.

5. Your items

Please include only machine-washable everyday items: clothing, towels, sheets and similar. Do not include dry-clean-only garments, leather, suede, fur, heavily beaded items, comforters, rugs, pet bedding, or anything wet, moldy, contaminated or containing hazardous material. Please check pockets — we are not responsible for items left in them.

If something comes back not clean, tell us within 48 hours and we'll re-wash it at no charge. For items lost or damaged in our care, our liability is limited to ten times the item's laundering charge, up to a maximum of $150 per item and $300 per bag, consistent with standard industry practice. We are not liable for normal wear, colour bleeding, shrinkage, or damage to items not suitable for standard machine washing.

6. Sorted bags

Sorted bags remain our property and are provided for use during your membership. Please return them when your membership ends.

7. Acceptable use

Memberships are for a single household and may not be resold or shared between addresses. We may suspend or end a membership for misuse, abusive conduct toward our team, or repeated non-payment.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms or our pricing. We'll email members before any price change takes effect, and you can cancel before it applies.
